PS : Nevertheless, I suspect that a lot of mathematicians don't need to see the pdf realisation of the latex source, and in fact read directly in latex... The thing works well in this very universal way of compilation. Maybe, but that's like saying a lot of mathematicians are fluent in 2 or more languages while others have to plod through translating as they go.
