This is the final announcement for the 33rd Foundational Methods in Computer Science (FMCS) workshop, to be held at St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, from June 15th to June 19th, 2026. The conference website is at https://dariendewolf.com/fmcs2026. It includes full details about the workshop, campus accommodations, local dining and activities, and travel information. **Registration and Abstract Submission** Registration takes less than 5 minutes and is needed so I can organize catering needs. They need quite a lead time. Abstract submission is not needed at registration. - Register: https://dariendewolf.com/fmcs2026/register.html - Submit an abstract: https://dariendewolf.com/fmcs2026/submit-abstract.html Registration is free for students and postdocs. The registration fee for all other participants is $100, collected on-site. FMCS is an informal and student-friendly workshop, and we strongly encourage students to present their work. Please register even if you do not plan to give a talk, as registration helps with schedule planning and catering (especially if you have accessibility or dietary needs). **Important Dates** - Friday, May 22, 2026: Registration deadline (by Monday is also OK...) - Friday, May 22, 2026: Campus accommodation block deadline (this is strict, though) - Friday, June 5, 2026: Abstract submission deadline **Confirmed Tutorial Speakers** We are pleased to announce the following confirmed tutorial speakers: - Rose Kudzman-Blais (Kyoto University) - Michael Lambert (Norwich University) - Marcello Lanfranchi (Macquarie University) - Robin Cockett (University of Calgary) - Dorette Pronk (Dalhousie University) - Rory Lucyshyn-Wright (Brandon University) - Geoff Crutwell (Mount Allison University) - Lyne Moser (Universität Regensburg) - Susan Niefield (Union College) Titles will be posted on the website as they become available. **Campus Accommodations** On-campus accommodation is available at Riley Hall on the StFX campus. See the Accommodations section at https://dariendewolf.com/fmcs2026/ for details and a direct booking link. I look forward to seeing all of you in Antigonish this June.
