Dear Category List, I am looking for references giving lots of details on the constructions of localization in Gabriel-Zisman. For example their Lemma 1.2 has its proof left to the reader; also the construction of the category of fractions when the localizing system has a calculus of fractions, requires drawing lots of diagrams. The corresponding proofs in Verdier's thesis are also ``left to the reader''. Does anybody know of any references where these things are done in painstaking detail?
