Since a few people have already asked me about this: You do not necessarily need experience with differential/tangent categories to be considered for the position. As long as you're interested in doing research with differential categories, tangent categories, and related areas (and "related areas” here can be very flexible!), you can definitely consider applying. Have a great day! While we prefer a start date in early 2027, the exact date is flexible if necessary (though it has to be before Dec 2027). Please see the link below for full details and instructions on how to apply: https://mq.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/CareersatMQ/job/Wallumattagal-Campus-Macquarie-University/Postdoctoral-Fellow_R000024286<https://mq.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/CareersatMQ/job/Wallumattagal-Campus-Macquarie-University/Postdoctoral-Fellow_R000024286> Application deadline is October 16 11:59PM Sydney time. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for an online interview. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or others in the category theory group here. Interested applicants might also consider reaching out to my current postdoc Marcello Lanfranchi (marcello.lanfranchi@mq.edu.au) to ask about his experience at Macquarie as a postdoc in our group, working with me and the others, life in Sydney, etc. Have a great day!
