Dear All, This is the first announcement of the hybrid workshop "Spectrums in Representation Theory of Algebras and Related Topics" happening in Osaka between 16-19 December 2025, to be held at the Osaka Central Advanced Mathematical Institute (OCAMI). We are sending this email via multiple mailing lists; we apologize if you receive it multiple times. The workshop will focus on the development and applications of the topological tools known as spectrum to the representation theory of algebras, broadly interpreted. It is intended to be both a friendly place where newcomers can learn about a selection of these topics, as well as a platform to discuss recent advances. The workshop features two minicourses by: - Rosanna Laking (University of Verona), - Ryo Takahashi (Nagoya University). The confirmed speakers for the workshop are: - Lidia Angeleri Hügel (University of Verona), - Paul Balmer (University of California, Los Angeles), - Osamu Iyama (The University of Tokyo), - Tsutomu Nakamura (Kyoto University of Education), - Manuel Reyes (University of California, Irvine), - Shunya Saito (The University of Tokyo). Please see more information on the event's website: pabloocal.github.io/SRTART2025/. The workshop will also feature several contributed talks. We particularly encourage and welcome applications from junior researchers, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students. We especially welcome applications from women and minority groups in mathematics. We have a limited amount of financial support available for junior participants. Please let us know in the registration form if you would like to be considered for it. Junior participants applying for contributed talks will be given priority. *Registration for the workshop is now open.* *The call for contributed talks is now open.* We are very excited to welcome you to Osaka!
