UNION COLLEGE MATHEMATICS CONFERENCE Saturday and Sunday April 30 - May 1, 2011 This is the second announcement for the Union College Mathematics Conference. This year the conference topics are category theory, algebraic topology, and applied mathematics. The plenary speakers for the conference are: Peter Selinger (Dalhousie) Julie Bergner (UC Riverside) Margaret Cheney (RPI) There will also be shorter contributed talks in parallel sessions. Anyone interested in giving such a talk should contact one of the organizers or complete the registration form on the conference website (see URL below) as soon as possible. The deadline for abstract submission is April 1st. The pre-registration deadline is April 7th.
