Furthermore, we also welcome submissions from those that apply these diagrams in all sorts of research domains, be it law, psychology, computer science, linguistics, philosophy, natural sciences, or some other field. In this way, we hope to stimulate interdisciplinary work, the transfer of knowledge between fields, and the conception of creative new insights. We encourage both junior researchers (including students) and established academics to make a submission, which can range from work-in-progress to completed research. The workshop does not have proceedings, so work can be submitted even if it has been submitted or published elsewhere. This workshop is supported by the ERC Starting Grant STARTDIALOG (101040049). Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are, however, those of the authors only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Research Council Executive Agency. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them. ----------------------------------------- KEYNOTE SPEAKERS ----------------------------------------- Sun-Joo Shin (Yale University) Title TBC Valeria Giardino (CNRS-Institut Jean Nicod, Paris) Diagrams as Cognitive Artifacts: Old Questions and New Challenges Jens Lemanski (Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen/ FernUniversität in Hagen) On the History of How Logic Diagrams have been Applied in Mathematics ----------------------------------------- IMPORTANT DATES ----------------------------------------- All deadlines are 23:59 Anywhere on Earth.
