Dusko Pavlovic sees problems with the name " K-Z doctrine ", used by Street to abbreviate "Kock-Zoeberlein doctrine". I dislike both names, and in the paper (with R. Blackwell and A.J. Power) "Two-dimensional monad theory", J. Pure Appl. Algebra 59 (1989), 1-41, I wrote "quasi-idempotent monad" and "co-quasi-idempotent monad"; the first (resp the second) includes those whose algebras are categories with certain limits (resp. colimits).
