Dear all, I'm pleased to announce FreeTikZ, a web-based tool to convert handdrawn string diagrams into LaTeX/TikZ code. http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/cheunen/freetikz A brief explanation of how it works can be found at the n-Category Cafe: https://golem.ph.utexas.edu/category/2018/01/freetikz.html The intended workflow is that one draws a diagram using a tablet/touchscreen/stylus/mouse, and then tweaks the latex code by hand before compiling it. Any comments or improvements are very welcome (especially ideas about how to simplify the wires without getting wonky angles).
