Dear Peter Thank you for your very kind remarks. I was also interested to hear of the culture in Physics. I'll rest easier tonight thinking ``It's just the scientific method at work!'' Ross
Dear Ross, I saw today your message to categories as well as the ArXiv version of “Real Sets” with the blue lines remarking the non-examples in question. Making mistakes happens sometimes not out of incompetence but often to those who risk doing something worthwhile. When one of our colleagues said about another “He never makes mistakes”, I thought that in itself that was not necessarily a compliment. I will be looking forward to your future investigations initiated in your paper with George as in my opinion it is among the best contributions to the Freyd-Lawvere special issue of TMJ. Thanks for cc-ing me in your email to Peter, but I cannot make any sense of it as you did not include his email to you. Best regards, Marta Sent from my iPad

Thank you also Marta. I expect Peter’s message will be posted on “categories’’ very soon but I’ll forward it anyway. Thank you for everything, Ross Sent from my iPhone

Dear All, I don't understand how it works with time zones: I discovered all your messages simultaneously this morning. So, all I can say is that I join Ross in saying thanks to Marta and to Peter for those kind remarks. Dear George It is sort of ironic that, thanks to your discovering some inaccuracies in our own “final” version SDT, we had to ask Cambridge University Press to allow them and which they reluctantly did as it is not yet published. However, to do so with Tbilisi Mathematical Journal with your own last minute corrections to “Real sets” could not likewise be done, as the entire issue TMS 10-3 had already been published - albeit only a few days ago. I think that we have reasons to thank each other and not just for these matters. Best regards, Marta Sent from my iPad
