*** London Mathematical Society Research School *** "Bicategories, categorification and quantum theory" *** University of Leeds, UK *** July 11th-15th, 2022 Dear all, This is a first announcement that the School of Mathematics of the University of Leeds will host a London Mathematical Society Research School "Bicategories, Categorification and Quantum Theory". The event will take place from Monday 11th July to Friday 15th July, 2022. The school will include four mini-courses: - Richard Garner (Macquarie University), Bicategories - Chris Heunen (University of Edinburgh), Quantum Theory - Sonia Natale (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba), Hopf Algebras - Marco Mackaaij (Universidade do Algarve), Categorification The mini-courses will be complemented by tutorials. Additional information, including registration, will be available in due course.
