CATALG2018 - First Announcement
*** First Announcement *** CatAlg - 4th Workshop in Categorical Algebra *** Gargnano del Garda (BS) *** 28 May - 1 June 2018 Dear colleagues and friends, The Fourth Workshop CATALG2018 on Categorical Algebra: "Recent developments and future perspectives" will take place in Gargnano (Garda lake), 28 May - 1 June 2018 As in the previous editions, we would like to have a proper "workshop", with only a few invited talks, and time for informal discussions. Keynote speakers (two-hour talks): Alberto Facchini, Marino Gran, Walter Tholen. Other invited speakers (one-hour talks): Maria Manuel Clementino, Xabier Garc??a-Mart??nez, Pierre-Alain Jacqmin, Zurab Janelidze, Andrea Montoli, Tim Porter, Diana Rodelo, Benno van den Berg. Finally, George Janelidze will give the conclusive talk. Although there will be no other scheduled talks, there will be a poster session to present and discuss results and investigations in categorical algebra. The workshop will start with a welcome buffet on Monday May 28th, in the late afternoon. Talks are scheduled from Tuesday May 29th, in the morning, till Friday June 1st, around noon. CatAlg2018 will take place in Palazzo Feltrinelli, where there will be also arranged lunches for all participants. The registration fee for CatAlg2018 is 140 EURO, it includes: the welcome buffet on Monday evening, all coffee breaks, conference lunches from Tuesday to Thursday. The registration fee must be paid cash at the arrival. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as possible. Furthermore, if you wish to present a poster at the "poster session", please send a short abstract to the conference email by April 15th.
