Dear colleagues, during the next academic year, 2003-2004, we will organise a special programme under the general heading of "noncommutative geometry" at Utrecht. The lectures cover a range of topics, including homological algebra, theory of C*-algebras, foliations, and cyclic homology, and are intended for students who would like to enter a PhD programme in the subsequent year.
