Topos Institute is hiring! We are seeking applicants for two Berkeley-based positions: a Research Software Engineer and several summer Research Associates. * The Research Software Engineer (RSE) will work on finding the right abstractions for data integration, knowledge representation and reasoning, and scientific modeling, and implementing them in the Julia programming language. The position is for one year with possibility of conversion to a regular position. A strong background in programming is required. Knowledge of category theory and prior experience with Julia are preferred but not required.
