SPECIAL VOLUME IN HONOUR OF ROBERT LOWEN ON THE OCCASION OF HIS SEVENTIETH BIRTHDAY Robert Lowen will celebrate his 70th birthday this October. "Applied Categorical Structures", the journal of which he is the Founding Editor, will dedicate a special volume to him at this occasion. Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts in electronic form to Maria Manuel Clementino <mmc@mat.uc.pt>, possibly suggesting one of the Guest Editors to be assigned to the paper. All papers will be carefully refereed following the standards of "Applied Categorical Structures". The deadline for submission of papers is 30 November 2017.
