Launching of the South American Journal of Logic
We are very glad to present the first issue of the South American Journal of Logic, SAJL: http://www.sa-logic.org/ This journal will be published both on-line (open access) and in-print, starting with 2 issues a year. South America is a huge continent with many different countries. Logic is strong in South America since many years. There are some very active groups of logic in particular in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Venezuela. The objective of SAJL is to promote the work of people working in South-America and their interaction with the rest of the world. This journal is dedicated to logical research in all its aspects: philosophical, mathematical, historical, computational and is also aiming at encouraging relations with other fields like linguistics, law, biology, information, etc. In this first issue we have a collection of 14 high quality papers reflecting this perspective. Enjoy!
